Tandem+ is a personal subscription on your account — it follows you into every space you're in, on both the Personal and Business sides. Desk+ is bought per business space by that space's owner. They're independent: you can hold Tandem+ Pro and own three desks on three different Desk+ plans at once.
No. Backers are a personal-space thing. A desk unlocks its features by paying for Desk+ or Desk+ Pro — there is no backing, no ranks, and nothing for members to contribute.
